One of the oldest buildings in Lodi, 17 Summer was born to be a part of the culinary world. In the early 1900s, 17 Summer was built by a local family, who immigrated from Italy and owned and operated a very successful butcher shop at 17 Summer for 50 years.

Since opening in 2012, 17 Summer has been home to Joseph Cuccia Catering. Jenna and Joseph Cuccia have hosted countless Chef Tables, prepared for large catered events, and put private dining on the map. In 2015, this brother sister team opened 17 Summer Restaurant exactly where they started.

17 Summer Restaurant is one with heart, a deep soul, and a story. At 17 Summer Restaurant Executive Chef and Owner Joseph Cuccia and Jenna Cuccia are dedicated to celebrating each ingredient. Their passion is immediately felt upon arriving at 17 Summer Restaurant. The open kitchen, ever changing menu, and Wednesday night Chef’s Tables are just glimpses of the offerings at the quaint corner where Summer and Autumn meet. Joseph’s commitment to the classic techniques and made-from-scratch cooking is how he shares his culinary journey. He lives deeply in his roots, every day, starting with opening 17 Summer Restaurant in the town where he was born and raised; continuing to cook the food he grew up eating and the food from classic cuisines that have a story and a soul. Joseph strongly believes in the simplicity of food and holds true to the philosophy that each ingredient should speak for itself. His view on food and this industry is one of quality, integrity and approachability.

The maximum seated capacity in the space is 22 guests

Parties of 6 or more will not be accommodated on Friday or Saturday

All reservations for 17 Summer Restaurant are available on this website. Additionally, you may call 973-928-4780 from Tuesday to Saturday. A credit card is required to hold your reservation. 17 Summer Restaurant will charge a cancellation fee of $25 per person, in the event of a no-show or cancellation of the reservation within 24 hours of the reservation time.  We accept reservations for parties up to 4 guests. We only seat complete parties. We will hold your table up to 15 minutes past your reservation time. In the event your table is given away, we will seat your party as promptly as possible when the next table is available. A credit card is required to hold your reservation. 17 Summer Restaurant will charge a cancellation fee of $25 per person, in the event of a no-show or cancellation of the reservation within 24 hours of the reservation time.
